Tiffany Goralczyk’s path to nursing began during her freshman year of college, inspired by the compassion and support she witnessed from the nursing care team who looked after her grandmother following a heart attack. The experience left a lasting impression and ignited her calling to make a difference in the lives of others through nursing.
“Witnessing everything she went through and the profound impact the nurses' support had on her influenced me to explore a career in nursing,” Tiffany says. “The nurses were so passionate and supportive during an incredibly difficult time. Thanks to their care, my grandmother lived another five years after open-heart surgery at age 81—and she was even able to see me graduate from college. That meant everything to both of us.”
The formative experience set Tiffany on a clear path, ultimately leading her to earn a Master’s degree in Nursing and Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification from Rush University in Chicago. It fueled her passion for healthcare education and helped shape her current role as the Director of Clinical Solutions at Elemeno Health. In 2022, her transformational leadership across the healthcare continuum earned her the esteemed "40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders" award, presented by the Illinois Nurses Foundation, which recognizes young nurse leaders who are making significant contributions to the nursing profession through clinical practice, education, administration, research, and beyond.
A focus on clinical education
In her role at Elemeno Health, Tiffany is a strategic partner from pre-sales through implementation, guiding clients with clinical expertise, tailored content solutions, and hands-on support. She also leads a team of Clinical Solutions Architects to ensure continuity throughout the client journey—from initial demos to full adoption—driving engagement, accelerating launch timelines, and supporting long-term success.
She is dedicated to advancing operational efficiency and optimizing workflows, playing a key role as a change agent in driving successful organizational transformation. She also partners closely with Elemeno’s growth team in the development of contract values and ensures alignment with business goals and effective budget management.
Tiffany designs educational materials that address both micro-level (clinic or unit-based) and macro-level (system-wide) learning needs, with a focus on improving safety and quality outcomes across the care continuum.
“In my role at Elemeno, I continue to value transformational leadership, but I’ve come to appreciate the impact of servant leadership more than ever.” she says. “Whether you're working in direct patient care or at a startup like Elemeno, it's about being willing and able to do the same tasks as your teammates. It’s important to step in and help cover when someone is out sick or facing various life circumstances, so the entire team can maintain a healthier work-life balance.”
A beginning at the bedside
Tiffany began her healthcare career in bedside nursing, working for health systems such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, Rush University Medical Center, and Oak Street Health.
While no longer serving in a direct patient care role, she deeply values and misses the meaningful relationships she built with her patients.
“During my time in ambulatory care, I focused primarily on geriatric primary care,” she says. “Working with patients managing chronic conditions allowed me to build long-term relationships and serve as an ongoing resource, educating them on medications, medical equipment, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that could truly improve their quality of life.”
Today, Tiffany blends her firsthand experience as a frontline caregiver with her expertise in clinical education to drive meaningful impact in healthcare. As a dedicated professional and busy mother of two, she is also a strong advocate for the power of self-care—emphasizing the importance of nutrition, exercise, and balance in both personal and professional life.
“What I always shared with the patients I cared for was this: ‘Take the time to care for yourself too.’ That simple reminder has made a big difference in my own life—helping me stay energized and balanced as a full-time professional and a mom of two,” she says.
Finding wisdom from a nursing legend
Tiffany draws inspiration from nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, widely regarded as the founder of modern nursing. One of her favorite quotes reads: “Nature alone cures. What nursing has to do is to put the patient in the best condition for nature to act upon him.”
This quote resonates deeply with Tiffany because it reflects a core belief she holds: true healing starts by addressing the root cause.
“As someone deeply committed to driving meaningful change in healthcare, I find Nightingale’s legacy incredibly energizing,” Tiffany says. “She was a bold innovator who united science, advocacy, and heart—and never waited for permission to do what was right. She reminds me that real care is both an art and a science, and that true innovation often begins by returning to the basics: honoring nature, empowering the patient, and shaping healing environments.”
