Lead Front-end Engineer

This is an opportunity to lead the development of our front-end web applications. This role will include working with our Product and Client teams to identify new functionality, making decisions about our front-end architecture, building out web applications using modern web technologies, and coordinating with back-end engineers to deploy features to our customers.

Within the first week you will:

  • learn from our Client Success team how Elemeno is helping front-line healthcare teams,
  • walk through our existing application architecture,
  • review our product pipeline,
  • design, implement, test, and deploy your first code change.

Within the first month you will:

  • regularly deploy new features and fixes to our internal and external front-ends,
  • take over ownership of front-end technical decisions and systems management,
  • evaluate our current applications for possible enhancements and upgrades.

Within the first six months you will:

  • hire a junior engineer to expand the front-end engineering team,
  • successfully refactor/upgrade existing applications to ensure accessibility, performance and rapid development,
  • ensure robust testing for our sites and services,
  • work with the rest of the product and back-end engineering teams to map out future features and enhancements.

What we’re built in:

  • Our front-end stack consists of React (CRA), GraphQL, webpack, babel, and Semantic UI.
  • Our test and build processes also utilize Karma, Jest, ESLint, Prettier, and Storybook.
  • Our back-end runs on AWS Lambda, Dynamo DB and S3.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of professional experience building SPAs in a modern framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6)
  • Shipped a web application from scratch
  • Implemented accessibility and cross-browser compatibility best practices
  • Experience improving UX through an iterative process
  • Some experience in AngularJS would be a bonus, as we complete our transition to React.
  • Ideally, some full-stack / back-end experience with AWS or another cloud provider.

Communications Manager

Join our dedicated team and help build publicity and awareness of our brand by creating content and generating news stories as Communication Manager. As a startup, we are looking for an individual who is a skilled generalist and comfortable “wearing a lot of hats.” This person thrives on creating compelling business stories, pitching to news outlets, and building relationships with media. This position will also create marketing content and distribute across multiple digital platforms (website, email, social media, etc.) to investors, clients, users, and sales leads.

What you’ll do day to day: (general and not limited too)

  • Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media to increase company visibility
  • Build connections and manage relationships with media and key journalists through a mix of channels, from traditional to digital and social
  • Oversee the public relations program: identify compelling content, write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, schedule interviews, etc.
  • Understand the media landscape: forecast news cycles, identify areas of trending public interest, anticipate issues and manage crises that threaten the company/brand. 
  • Develop and maintain communication toolkits: editorial style guide, media kits, key messaging, staff bios, etc.
  • Partner with marketing on writing and publishing content for the website, blog, whitepapers, case studies, email newsletters and social media.
  • Assist with executive communications, including pitch decks, investor updates, and employee communications.

Key Account Director

Join our dedicated team and help build efficiency and infrastructure by creating and/or improving internal procedures as Key Account Director. This isn’t your typical position and is a valued and integral part of a small, close knit team. You will be assigned an existing client portfolio for which you will be responsible for each client’s overall success as measured by customer retention (renewals), revenue expansion and customer satisfaction.

More specifically your job will include:

  • Being Elemeno’s primary executive contact with our valued the clients, pairing directly with the client executive sponsor(s)
  • Identifying expansion opportunities within the client’s hospital and/or health system
  • Building and executing a Client Sales Expansion Plan with clearly defined steps, dates, contacts, roles, expected outcomes and deliverables
  • Collaborating closely with Elemeno’s Client Success Team to keep internal status information on the client up to date
  • Conducting quarterly or semi-annual executive reviews with the client
  • Identifying  success stories within your portfolio which have value to other clients and collaborating with Marketing in the development of related  marketing  collateral

Administrative Services Manager

This isn’t your typical position and is a valued and integral part of small close knit team. You will bring areas of HR, IT and Facilities together in this role and as such, this will be an opportunity to contribute to  defining this role, which will lead to greater opportunity as this team grows or into other areas of our company.

More specifically your job will include:

  • Facilities: office management, ordering, office sharing strategy, supply procurement
  • IT: user account access and management of licensing for our cloud based systems
  • Human Resources: variety of tasks including but not limited to, payroll processing, onboarding procurement,
  • Managing Invoices and bill payment processing and tracking
  • Track multiple projects concurrently
